Employee plans with 100 or more participants are under increasing scrutiny by the U.S. Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service. Employers who have not recently conducted a self- audit of their plans are leaving themselves open to costly penalties and forced remedies. In this webcast, Jewell Lim Esposito of the law firm Chamberlain Hrdlicka will go over the Labor Department’s audit list for 2010 and describe how you, as a plan fiduciary, can avoid painful and costly plan mistakes. In addition, she’ll outline free or low-cost strategies for analyzing your retirement plan costs and the investment options your plan offesr. The program will also look at fidelity insurance coverage and how you can determine whether your company’s coverage to protect you as a fiduciary and your plan participants is adequate.
This presentation is for Human Resources and Finance Department Professionals. If you have anything whatsoever to do with your company’s retirement plan or employee benefits, join us for a complimentary breakfast briefing to hear about 2010 changes that affect you and practical steps to save you money, expenses and exposure.
